Departure & Arrival

You will depart Vancouver, on a Duncanby chartered flight, from Seair Seaplanes which is located on the Fraser River close to the South Terminal of Vancouver International Airport. Seair’s location is convenient for guests traveling from outside of the Lower Mainland with many hotels and amenities in the area.

A Duncanby staff member will greet you at Seair to check you in and answer any last minute questions you may have. Luggage is limited to 25 lbs in order to ensure there is room for your catch on the way home. We recommend a soft sided duffle bag or sports bag to make loading of the planes quick and easy. Carry-on's are not permitted on floatplanes, there are no overhead bins or room under the seats for knapsacks or purses. Check in time is 12:00 (noon) and the planes will depart at approximately 1:00 pm for the 90 minute flight up the Strait of Georgia directly to the Lodge and arrive at around 2:30 pm.

You will depart Duncanby at approximately 3:00 pm and retrace the flight path back to the Seair Terminal. If you are arranging connecting flights we recommend that you do not book anything until at least 7:30 pm. This will allow time for any unexpected short delays that may occur, transportation to the main terminal and check in of your fish when you arrive there.
